Bedtime Prayer (Inspired by Genesis 1:4)
Genesis 1:4 – "God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness."
Heavenly Father,
As I prepare to rest tonight, I thank You for Your goodness. Just as You saw that the light was good and separated it from the darkness, I ask You to bring Your light into my life. Separate me from anything that brings fear, worry, or doubt, and fill my heart with Your peace.
Lord, in moments when life feels overwhelming or uncertain, remind me that Your light always overcomes the darkness. No matter what challenges I face, You are with me, guiding me through. I surrender every burden to You tonight, trusting that You are working all things for my good.
I invite Your presence into my sleep. Let my heart be at rest, my thoughts be at peace, and my body be renewed. Cover me and my loved ones with Your protection, and let Your angels stand guard over us. May I wake up refreshed, ready to walk in the light of Your love and grace.
Thank You for Your unfailing presence, for separating me from anything that does not belong in my life, and for leading me into the goodness of Your plan. I rest in Your care, knowing that You are always watching over me.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
