Praise the Lord
“FORGIVENESS OF SINS”
Glory to the great and holy name of the Lord!
Dear Beloved,
I am very happy to meet you on this wonderful occasion. Today, the word that our Lord God wishes to speak to us is "Forgiveness of Sins"
Every person in this world is a sinner. This is because, starting with the first human beings, Adam and Eve, who sinned by disobeying the word of the Lord in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3 chapter), sin has continued to spread to every human being until today (Romans 5:14). As a result, man, in an attempt to get rid of his sins, often undertakes pilgrimages to holy places seeking forgiveness. In India, people bathe in the Ganges River, hoping that their karma (sins) will be washed away. When this does not happen, people from northern India head to the southern tip of the country to Kanyakumari where three seas meet, and bathe there, hoping for relief from their sins. But even there, sin remains. Now, people from all over the world are travelling to Israel because it is the land where our Lord Jesus Christ was born and raised. In the Jordan River, John the Baptist was baptized, and even our Lord Jesus Christ received baptism there. Believers think that if they receive baptism in the Jordan River, their sins will be forgiven. Some even travel with pastors to Israel to be baptized there. Yet, even after all this, sin does not leave them. Similarly, Muslims travel once in their lifetime to the Kaaba in Saudi Arabia, believing that circling the Prophet Muhammad's tomb will free them from sin. However, even this does not result in forgiveness. Humanity is thus wandering, unsure of how to receive forgiveness of sins. But dear one, who is seeking forgiveness of sins, listen! Here is how your sins will be completely forgiven.
Glory to the great and holy name of the Lord! It is for the sake of redeeming sinful humanity that our Lord Jesus Christ came into this world in human form (1 Timothy 1:15). Our Lord Jesus Christ was sacrificed on the cross for the sins of every person in this world. Our Lord bore all our sins on the cross (1 Peter 2:24). Not only did our Lord Jesus Christ bear our sins on the cross, but He also bore our sorrows (Isaiah 53:4) and illnesses (Matthew 8:17). Furthermore, to cleanse or purify us from our sins, our Lord Jesus Christ shed His own blood on the cross (1 John 1:7). All religious scriptures declare that there is no forgiveness of sins without the shedding of blood (Leviticus 16:27; 17:11). That is why, in the time of Moses, God introduced the sacrificial system. To atone for sins, a person had to bring a lamb or a bull to the priest. The priest would lay the person's sins upon the animal, which would then be sacrificed, and its blood would be shed to provide atonement for the person's sins (Leviticus 5:4-9). However, even with this system, humanity was unable to attain complete freedom from sin. Seeing this, our Lord God sent His own Son, Christ, as a sacrificial lamb for the redemption of humanity's sins (1 John 4:10). John the Baptist spoke of this when he said, "Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world" (John 1:29). Therefore, at the age of thirty-three and a half, our Lord Jesus Christ was crucified for the sins of every person. Through His shed blood on the cross, He brought about forgiveness and salvation (Colossians 1:14; Luke 1:77). The Bible also says that the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7). Therefore, our Lord Jesus Christ shed all of His blood on the cross for our sake. It has been over two thousand years since He shed His blood, but even today, the blood of Jesus Christ continues to cleanse humanity from sin. Despite the passage of two thousand years, the power of Jesus Christ’s blood has not diminished. It continues to purify sinners to this day. That is how powerful the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ is. Now, let us proceed to the main point.
The blood of the Lord Jesus Christ was shed for us. We need to pay attention to how that blood cleanses us. Pay attention to what the Lord’s scripture says about it. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). From this word, we understand that until we confess our sins, the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ cannot cleanse us (1 John 1:7, 9).
Servants of God and the children of God must confess their sins. We are found as those who have swallowed a whole pumpkin. There is no one among us who does not sin. From Adam until today, every human born in his lineage is sinful. Only the Lord Jesus Christ, who was born as a man, did not sin (John 8:46). All other humans born are sinners. After death, to join with God or to enter the kingdom of heaven, we must have received forgiveness of sins. No one can enter the kingdom of God without forgiveness of sins. Therefore, those who read this message from the Lord should immediately come forward to confess their sins. The Lord’s scripture says that he who conceals his sins will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will find mercy (Proverbs 28:13). Thus, those who conceal their sins have no life in this world and no part in heavenly life, as the Lord reveals through His word. Now, let us come to the point.
Due to much confusion among God's people about how to confess sins, this message from the Lord is sent by our Lord God to the entire world for clarity. Those who embrace it can be assured of a share in God’s kingdom. So now, pay close attention to the message from the Lord. To help people confess their sins or cleanse themselves, our Lord God has made various arrangements in the churches. To cleanse the people of Israel, our Lord God sent John the Baptist (John 1:6). He was giving baptism in the name of the Lord in the Jordan River. He preached a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. All the people of Judea and Jerusalem went to him, confessed their sins, and were baptized by him in the Jordan River (Mark 1:4, 5). Through baptism, a person is washed of sins. That is, before receiving baptism, a person must confess their sins, and only then should they be baptized. But God’s servants are not doing this. If you don’t lead the people properly, you must answer to God (Mark 1:4, 5). A person is washed of sins through baptism, have you, the servants of God, forgotten this? (Acts 22:16) We read that the people of Israel confessed their sins to the man of God sent by God and were baptized by him (Matthew 3:5, 6). From this, we understand that we can confess our sins to the man of God, as the word of God says. But now, one may think there are no such men of God. According to this word, in the Roman Catholic Church, people confess their sins to the servants of God. However, the authority to forgive sins is very important. This authority of forgiveness is entirely spiritual and not of the flesh. These days, because the servants of the Roman Catholic Church do not have the anointing of the Holy Spirit, there are greater opportunities for them to fall into sin while hearing confessions (John 20:22,23). Therefore, without apostolic authority, this authority of forgiveness cannot be exercised. Today, many call themselves apostles. They add the title 'apostle' before their names. Do you know the meaning of the word 'apostle'? It means 'one who is sent' (John 9:7). It is as if they are conferring the title upon themselves. Do you know what this is like? Today, many add the title Rev (REVEREND) before their names (Psalm 111:9). This title belongs only to our Lord God. Do you know the meaning of the word 'Reverend'? (Psalm 111:9) It means 'fearsome.' Are you fearsome? Think about it. Immediately remove these titles from before your name, or you will have to stand before God, as the Lord reminds you through this message.
After our Lord Jesus Christ rose from the dead, He gave this authority of forgiveness to His eleven apostles (since one, Judas, had betrayed our Lord Jesus Christ and died) (John 20:22, 23). Therefore, the apostles of the Lord have the authority of forgiveness, and we can confess our sins to them. But since there are no apostles now, one may wonder what to do. Today, many call themselves apostles, but according to the Lord, there are no apostles (Revelation 2:2). So, there is another way to cleanse ourselves or confess sins. In churches, arrangements can be made for a cleansing service on Fridays or Saturdays. In these services, one can stand up and confess their sins (Acts 19:18). That is, we must confess the sins we have committed. Everything that is exposed becomes light, as the Lord says (Ephesians 5:13, Proverbs 28:13). Until we confess the sins we have committed, they will not leave us; they will not be forgiven, says the Lord. Those sins are engraved on the tablets of our hearts, says the prophet Jeremiah (Jeremiah 17:1). Only when we confess our sins are they removed from the tablets of our hearts. Just as the burden in our hearts is lifted when we share our worries with a friend, the burden of sin is lifted when we confess our sins. Therefore, the people of God, the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ are very close. But because we have not properly confessed our sins until today, we see many sicknesses in our bodies. The lack of peace in our minds is because we have not confessed our sins.
Today, man is found living with sin. The reason God’s servants cannot minister with power is that they are ministering without confessing their sins. The reason Christians today cannot live a victorious life is that they are not confessing their sins. Therefore, servants of God! and people of God! Pay close attention to this message from the Lord. Confess the sins found within you properly. If there is a cleansing service in your church, attend it without fail and confess your sins. Cleanse yourself. Confess all the sins in your heart. As long as you do not confess your sins, the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ will never cleanse you (1 John 1:7, 9). This teaching of confession of sins was in practice even in the Old Testament (Joshua 7:1-26). It was also practiced in the early church (Mark 1:4, 5, Acts 19:18). The Roman Catholic Church follows this teaching of confession. Confessing sins is the right practice. But does merely studying in a Bible college give one the authority to hear confessions or the authority of forgiveness? Does God’s authority automatically come to you? Until the Lord gives you the authority of forgiveness, you cannot receive it (John 19:11, John 20:22, 23). Therefore, we who are spiritual must think. When Roman Catholics confess their sins and cleanse themselves, do not arrogantly think that such confession cannot be done by spiritual people like you. Do not ruin your spiritual life by not becoming holy. The Lord has prepared alternatives in every age.
The Lord is enthroned in His assembly. He judges among the gods, and says the word of the Lord (Psalm 82:1). So, go to the church where you are, stand up, and confess. God’s servants can arrange an all-night prayer once a month, where people can confess their sins. In any case, God’s servants must make people confess their sins. Today, many servants of God speak of revival and the end-time revival. They sing, pray, and preach about it, trying to bring about revival through the Spirit. But will revival happen this way? For end-time revival to occur, God’s servants and His children must grieve for their sins. They must confess their sins. Not only that, but they must weep and cry for their sins, pleading with God, "Lord, forgive my sins, Lord, forgive my sins!" When the law was read during the times of Ezra and Nehemiah, all the people stood up and confessed their sins (Nehemiah 9:1-3, Ezra 10:1-11). For a great revival to happen in these last days, Nehemiah and Ezra must rise, teach God’s commandments correctly, make the people confess their sins, and cause them to grieve deeply for their mistakes and confess. When this happens, revival will come immediately, says the Lord.
Therefore, beloved! As long as we are found with sin, no revival will occur. However, it is true that an end-time revival will happen. But that revival is delayed because of you. So, immediately rise up, cleanse yourselves, and prepare. Confess your sins. Not only that, forsake the sins you confess (Proverbs 28:13). Live for the Lord. There is only a little time left before the end of this world. Preparations are underway for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. You also prepare!
Behold, the Lord is coming!!
