For years, I've been listening to podcasts on a fourth-generation iPod Shuffle. I used iTunes to update it on a 2012 MacBook Pro. Last month, my MacBook died. I currently use the Apple Podcasts app on an M1 Air (14.6.1).
Even though I have downloaded and saved multiple podcasts to the Air, I can only get the iPod to play one at a time before repeating the same podcast after syncing with the Air. All the'synching variations' have failed me.
I have access to a computer running Windows 10 and iTunes. Can I just connect my Mac-formatted iPod to Windows 10's iTunes?
I would be devastated if the iPod were to "brick" and become unusable (I know it's "obsolete," but it worked with iTunes!), but I wouldn't mind if it were reformatted to Windows and I had to reload my podcasts.
Be kind, please. The budget is a concern, and my podcasts are significant.
I appreciate any clarification.
