The Power Of Divine Truth
Focus Text:Romans 6:4(KJV)
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.There are legal and vital aspects to our new creation status in Christ. Although we live in physical, human bodies, in an earthly environment, it is essential for us to know that this earth, is a region within the spiritual realm. This is true, because, Hebrews 11:3 tells us that, ".... things which are seen were not made of things which do appear."
The only space which existed, when our earth was created, was spiritual. This is proof positive, that this earth in which we live, is located within the spirit realm. In this spirit realm, there is a legal force that regulates and controls the trends and trajectories of events, affecting our earthly environment as well. God has a court in Heaven, where decisions are taken, which influence earthly happenings. The laws in this Heavenly court are universal in jurisdiction, and apply to all creatures in the heavens, on the earth, and under the earth.
As part of the legal processes established in Heaven's court, the blood of a sinless creature had to be shed on earth, for the remission of humanity's sin to be successful. Our dear Lord Jesus filled this role, executing the perfect redemption of all humanity. Consequently, everything that made it impossible for mankind to qualify to be spiritually rebirthed, was rendered null and void. His sacrifice was for all humanity. Therefore, on the basis of Christ's redemption, every human being qualifies to be born again, as God's righteousness, into His holy Kingdom. This is the legal aspect of salvation, or our new creation status.
Nevertheless, for this legal provision to be translated into the practical experience of a human being, he or she would have to discover what Jesus did, from the cross to the throne, on their behalf. Once such a discovery is made, by hearing the gospel of Christ's salvation, and getting born again, according to Romans 10:9-10, such an individual is recreated as a new species. This is the vital aspect of our new creation status. The legal aspect is akin to a cheque written in your name, for several million dollars, signed by a billionaire.
For you to successfully withdraw the amount of money stated on the cheque, into your possession, you would have to append your own signature on the cheque, and present it at the bank. This is what will make the legal money come into your practical ownership. This is how the vital aspect of Christ's already obtained salvation, comes into manifestation for any human being living on earth.
