Let's pray
Only prayer accompanied with works gives birth to commendable results. We borrow the story of Elijah, a man of God. He prayed seven times while checking to see if there's any progress on his request.
1kings 18:43
Then Elijah said to his servant, “Go and look toward the sea.” The servant went and looked. He said, “I see nothing.” Elijah told him to go and look again. This happened seven times. The seventh time, the servant said, “I see a small cloud as small as a man's hand coming up from the sea"You grow a plantation and abandon it,no time to inspect it 'because its far'; you have a husband/wife and you never check on them the entire day; you have a business that you are busy praying for but have abandoned it to the workers, you never even pass around; that car engine--If the fluids are not inspected can knock and you will blame it on the devil;praying for a child's good performance but no time to even scrutinize their books. You have a building site but you do so by proxy. Faith without works!!
Dear Lord, as we pray, may we also be diligent and always take good stewardship of the things you have entrusted us with....In Jesus' name.
