My age is 57. I used to believe that as I grew older, I would eventually lose everything. Very self-centered of me. and after that, I gave up using or abusing cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, refined sugar, processed foods—other words, active addiction.
I used to lose everything for one thing, but now that I've lost everything, I have everything. I adore my current age. I simply didn't understand 'it' when I was younger. Nothing in the world, not even money, can replace what I have now: wisdom, empathy, compassion, serenity, tranquility, and service to others.
