Text: 1 Peter 1:8,11
8. Whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory,
11. searching what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow.
Joy is a word that brings laughter, great pleasure, delight, and euphoria. We normally think it should be based on happenings around us.
But it is the full package and experience that come with knowing the Holy Spirit. Joy is not a function of our present experiences or situations; it's a fruit of the spirit. Joy unspeakable is joy inexpressible, beyond description, incapable of being expressed in words.
Unspeakable joy indicates great joy. God's desire for us is to experience this as a continuum.
The joy of the Lord is what gives us strength to live out the life of Christ boldly. Joy unspeakable is a deep experience that encompasses our soul, spirit, and body. Joy is about our relationship with God. It is the gladness that you fell inside of your inner man that your name is written in heaven and that you have salvation, even despite the challenges of life.
A. Symptoms of depression
1. Feelings of sadness, tearfulness, emptiness or hopelessness
2. Angry outbursts, irritability, even over small matters
3. loss of interest or pleasure in most or all normal activities, hobbies, or sports.
4. Sleep disturbances, including insomnia or sleeping too much.
5. Tiredness and lack of energy make even small tasks take extra effort.
B. Joy in the Holy Ghost: it is the rock-solid belief that God is with us as we walk through fiery trials and deep Waters.
Ways one can receive the joy of the holy ghost are:
1. Obtaining grace and mercy Hebrews 4:16.
2. To know the love of Christ Ephesians 3:18-19
3. Recalling and hoping Lamentations 3:21-23
For you to be able to obtain unspeakable joy, you must receive Jesus Christ as your lord and savior. Follow him and his teachings.
Conclusion: unspeakable joy gives us the grace to look up to Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith, in spite of whatever we are passing through.
When you seek him, you will find that the door will be opened to you and your cup will run over. You will come to know what true joy really means as you learn how to dance in the rain.
May God give us an understanding of his word in Jesus' name.
