FRIENDS GET ME RIGHT....YOU ARE UNIQUE AND CHOSEN!
( 1 Peter 2:9-10)
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
It is dangerous to accept the world's description of you and allow them to treat you as such; when you demonstrate fear of God, they say you are too weak and lack ambition, and when you prioritise God over wealth, they say you are not ruthless enough. You are not weak or unambitious; you understand that material possession without salvation is eternal damnation; you also understand that material possession is an entrustment, not an accomplishment to brag about.
God's peace is more valuable than material possessions; His presence in our lives is worth billions of dollars. We are called to shine God's light, not to oppress others for personal gain. We are unique, which is why we can not do things the same way the rest of the world does. It is disheartening to see the church imitate the world's style, approach, and beliefs. Christians are losing their spiritual heritage to the world as they become more and more connected to it.
