The battery on my 12-inch MacBook is a little strange.
The battery indicator clearly indicates that it is "Service Recommended" due to its advanced age. Even when in standby mode, the MacBook has trouble holding its battery.
Lately, it would abruptly turn off anywhere between 20% and 70% of itself, depending on the day. The issue is that there is an authorized Apple Reseller instead of an official Apple Store in my nation.
However, they are unable to provide a battery replacement because the MacBook 2015 is considered outdated.
The portability of this MacBook 12" is its main selling point, but it loses its allure when I have to find a wall outlet to charge it in case it dies on me too soon. I've been able to locate a brand-new battery for this model.
I'm just curious if anyone has ever tried to replace their own battery in this particular MacBook 12 2015 and how easy or challenging it was.
Since my technical proficiency is somewhat above average, I was just curious if it could be completed on my own or if doing so would even be recommended.
